Most patients with spinal disorders are successfully treated without surgery, and when intervention is necessary, less is more. 

"Unfortunately, as we have seen in all of medicine, there are too many incentives to do just the opposite," says Dr Budway.  "More and more patients have grown frustrated with long waits, rushed interactions, absent follow up, and an overall cut-and-run approach to surgery as they are herded through the medical system." 

Dr Budway has tailored his private practice to patients who expect a higher level of care.
